Ruidoso Animal Clinic helps needy animals in our community and around the world. Over the years, our doctors and staff have donated their time for free/low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinics as close as down the street and as far away as Kenya. To allow us to provide good samaritan care for local animals, the Ruidoso Animal Clinics set up the Animal Welfare Fund, partnering with the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization. All donations to the Animal Welfare Fund are tax deductible and every penny of every dollar goes to helping animals.
Funds from the Animal Welfare Fund have and will continue to be used for:
- Emergency care for lost and injured pets
- Care for pets harmed by natural disasters
- Help for Ruidoso Animal Clinic clients in financial crisis
- Funding and care for abandoned pets
- Care for police, fire and special needs service animals
