Angelise – Practice Manager
Originally from California, Angelise began her veterinary career in the mid-’90s and earned her RVT license soon after. She has extensive experience as both a technician and manager across large and small animal hospitals as well as animal shelters, and she taught in a veterinary technology program for 10 years.
Angelise is Fear Free and Human-Animal Bond certified and is passionate about continuing education to stay current in the ever-evolving veterinary field. She loves working with pet parents to help keep their pets happy and healthy and is excited to join the RAC team to help the hospitals grow while maintaining their warm, family feel. In 2024, she moved to New Mexico with her partner and their senior dogs—Luca, a Rottweiler, and Dougie, a long-haired mini Dachshund. She also has two grown sons. In her free time, Angelise enjoys baking, crafting, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends.
Roxanne L., RVT, Lead Technician
Roxanne grew up in Navajo Nation in Gallup, NM. She attended NMSU and obtained a
BS in Animal Science in 2008 and a Master's Degree in Domestic Animal Biology in
2010. Roxanne recently obtained her veterinary technician degree and has become a
Registered Veterinary Technician.. Roxanne has two young daughters and two dogs.
Annani – Client Service Representative Annani – Client Service Representative
Annani joined the Ruidoso Animal Clinic team in 2025, bringing previous experience from another veterinary hospital and a lifelong connection to the Ruidoso community. Her background working on a ranch sparked her interest in veterinary medicine, and she has carried that into her role as a Client Service Representative. A proud pet parent, Annani shares her home with three animals—one cat and two dogs—and she also gives extra love to RAC’s clinic cat, Piston, whom she takes home on weekends for some well-deserved enrichment and attention. Outside the clinic, Annani stays active in local softball and volleyball leagues.
Ayrian R., Veterinary Assistant
Ayrian was born and raised here in Ruidoso, NM. She graduated from Ruidoso High School in 2022. After graduating, Ayrian started working with animals and has been pursuing her passion for helping animals ever since. Ayrian has many hobbies which include going on hikes and road trips with her two dogs Zara and Drako.
Beth - Veterinary Assistant
Beth grew up in Northern New Jersey. As an adult she moved to Florida where she began her career as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2020 she moved to New Mexico and started working at the Ruidoso Animal Clinic. Beth has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2014 and has also worked in animal rescue. She has a Boxer named Grace and is also passionate about the TNR program and cares for a large feral cat colony. She enjoys motorcycling, gardening, sewing, reading, and updating her 100+ year old home.
Evette - Client Services Representative
Evette was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She moved to Hobbs, New Mexico with her family and worked in a veterinary hospital in Hobbs until moving to Ruidoso in 2015. Evette is bilingual (English and Spanish). She is a great asset to our practice. Evette enjoys reading and spending time with her two beautiful children, Tay and Trezure, and her Chihuahuas, Scrappy and Chuie.
Faith B., Lead Client Services Representative
Faith was born in Pampa, TX and was raised in Capitan, NM where she graduated from
Capitan Municipal Schools in 2018. After graduation, Faith moved to Syracuse, NY
where she attended Onondaga Community College. Faith moved back to NM in 2020
and has been working with animals ever since. She started at a kennel facility, and then
started working at Ruidoso Animal Clinic in 2020. Faith’s hobbies are hiking with her
dogs, scrapbooking and playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
Gabriella - Veterinary Assistant
Born and raised in Ruidoso, NM, Gabriella has been with Ruidoso Animal Clinic since April 2016. She’s a proud mom to a beautiful daughter and shares her home with a mix of furry and hooved companions—dogs, cats, and a horse. Gabriella’s happy place is anywhere she can ride her horse, hit the gym, or unwind with a good book beside a crackling fire.
Katie - Veterinary Assistant and Client Service Representative
KaiteI was born in California and raised in Ruidoso, New Mexico, which she’s proud to call home. She’s built her career around caring for both people and animals—working part-time at the Ruidoso Animal Clinic and also as a Surgical Operating Room Technician at Lincoln County Medical Center. Her passion for animals started in childhood and has continued to shape both her professional path and personal life. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her outdoors—hunting, fishing, horseback riding, or cheering on the Denver Broncos with her significant other. She’s proud to be part of the Ruidoso community and looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact in both veterinary and human healthcare.
Maria - Veterinary Assistant
Maria worked with Dr. Owen for 11 years before joining the RAC team. Currently, she’s furthering her passion by studying animal osteopathy. When she’s not working with animals, she enjoys painting personalized pet portraits — combining her love for animals and art!
Marlene - Client Service Representative
Raised in Albuquerque, she graduated from El Dorado High School and followed her passion for animals by studying pet grooming. She’s been happily married for 30 years, with 3 wonderful kids and 2 beautiful grandchildren. Animals have always held a special place in her heart, and it's been her dream to work with them.
Olivia - Veterinary Assistant
Raised in beautiful Ruidoso, she spent 9 years in human medicine and worked as an EMT before finding her true calling in veterinary medicine, where she’s been working for the past 12 years.Olivia is a proud pet parent to 5 amazing fur babies who inspire my passion every day.
